What to expect on Delivery Day

You’ve designed or chosen your dream tiny home, and we’ve been working hard to bring your vision to life. You’ve been patiently waiting, and now the big day is almost here: delivery day.

While it might feel a little daunting, it’s actually one of the most exciting milestones in the journey.

This is when your home leaves our Iconic factory and finally arrives at its new location, ready to be positioned, set up and enjoyed for years to come.

Every delivery is a little different. Depending on your location, site requirements and the type of installation needed, your tiny home may be delivered with our team onsite to assist with positioning and setup, or it may be transported directly to you by our trusted delivery partners. Either way, we’ll work with you throughout the process to ensure everything is organised and your home arrives safely.

Before your tiny home arrives, there are a few important steps to make sure delivery day runs smoothly.

Prepare Your Site

Before the truck rolls up, make sure your site is ready. The delivery team will need clear access, suitable ground conditions, and no low-hanging branches or obstacles that could impact access.

Depending on your delivery and installation requirements, preparation may include having foundations, concrete pads or services ready before your home arrives. We’ll communicate what’s required throughout the process so you know exactly what needs to be completed before delivery day.

If you plan to connect power, water or waste right away, having those services prepared will make settling into your new home much easier.

Arrival and Placement

When your tiny home arrives, it will be carefully transported and positioned at your chosen location.

For some builds, our team will attend delivery to assist with positioning, levelling and setup, ensuring everything is completed correctly onsite. For other deliveries, your home may arrive with one of our trusted transport partners, who will safely deliver and place your home before handing it over to you.

Regardless of the delivery method, every home is transported with care and planning to ensure it arrives safely at its destination.

Levelling and Setup

Once your tiny home is in position, the next steps will depend on your individual build and delivery requirements.

Where our team is completing the installation, we’ll ensure your home is correctly levelled, positioned and ready for the next stage of setup. This may include additional works such as securing the home, connecting services or completing any agreed installation requirements.

If your home is delivered directly, we’ll provide guidance throughout the process so you know what’s required to get your new space ready to enjoy.

A correctly levelled home is essential for everyday comfort, helping doors operate properly, ensuring drainage works as intended and creating a stable living environment.

Your First Walkthrough

After your tiny home has arrived and been set up, it’s your moment to explore your new space.

Walk through the layout, check out the finishes, and take a moment to appreciate the journey from concept to completion.

If utilities are ready, now is the time to connect them. And most importantly, enjoy stepping inside your home for the first time, it’s a pretty special moment.

Keep your phone handy for photos, you’ll want to capture the moment your home arrives.
